Module Description:Module Aims: To identify the evolution of human resources in organisations. To explain the sophistication and maturity of the human resource department in an organisational context. To determine the functions and areas of HRM.
Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to
  1. Formulate and assess the problems and opportunities associated with effective human resource management.
  2. Differentiate and evaluate the functions and responsibilities of human resource management and the HR department.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to use practical HRM skills such as problem solving and critical thinking in an organisational setting.
